Documentation covers Passing Incoming URL Parameters to Outgoing Button Links in the Classic Builder experience, using the Pass through URL Parameters checkbox.

There does not seem to be a matching feature in the Smart Builder.

The only alternative I could find is Passing URL Parameters Through a Form in Smart Builder, so:

  • Put the button CTA into a form
  • Add hidden inputs for each URL parameter you want to pass through
  • Put the desired destination URL for the Confirmation Page
  • Set Append form data to URL option

Using forms for simple CTAs is OK but not ideal. Are there any other options that I’m missing?

Adding the Pass through URL Parameters option for buttons/links in the Smart Builder would solve this too :)
