Where do different Google Analytics tags go? Head, Before Body End or After Body Tag?

I have 2 different Google analytics tag: 1 is a general tracking tag and another is a google remarketing tag. Are all Google analytics tags to be placed on the head or before the body end tag? This video states generic tracking code to go on the head, but doesn’t say anything about retargeting tags. I’ve seen others put the remarketing tags before body end, but want to clarify.

Just spoke with a support rep: remarketing tags go before the body end tag, and regular GA tracking code goes on the head. 🙂

Awesome Kevin, thanks for sharing that with the community!
