We bought a domain just for our Unbounce land pages which will have its own URL so my questions is how do i create a static home page, any ideas?

Hi David - I think the answer to this varies, depending on what you want out of this page. If it’s there just so anyone who goes straight to the domain’s root sees a page, rather than a “page not found” message, you can design it in Unbounce, and then publish it directly at www.yourdomain.com by changing the URL of that page.
On the page overview of the page you’d like to make your homepage, click on change URL from the top left of the screen and then delete the current page name to just leave the domain:
