Hi all,

I would like to add a popup to my page in Unbounce, but I would like it to trigger on exit only when a visitor has not filled and sent a contact form. How can this be done?

Hi @Janusz 🙂

Not sure if this is the best solution, but at least it’s an option. If you use a dedicated confirmation page instead of the confirmation dialog your user will be redirected to the confirmation page upon form submit. If you exclude this URL for your popup it won’t trigger. Hope this helps.

Hi @Finge. Thanks for the idea. Could you explain it a little more?

Sure.

Create a landing page that will serve as you confirmation page. As an example, we use this as a confirmation page on some of our landing pages: https://conversionlab.no/thank-you/

On your landing page - click the form to highlight it and then specify “Go to URL” instead of “Show form confirmation dialog” as you can see below.

Make sure to exclude the URL for your confirmation page in your popup settings.
