Mailchimp rejects integration

Using Essential plan and paid Mailchimp with new client. Logging in appropriately, but mailchimp integration invalid. Am I missing something really obvious?

Hi, James!

I would recommend checking on the user level associated with your Mailchimp account 🙂

If your account is not an Admin or an Owner, the integration can’t be completed. For more context on user levels in Mailchimp, here’s a document you can check out: https://mailchimp.com/help/manage-user-levels-in-your-account/.
