Link Clicks don't work with Google Analytics Event Tracking Scripts

Hi

This LP has one link, which is a mailto event and works fine normally.

But when I attach the following code as Javascript, the link leads me to an undefined site.
Why is that? I need the script for tracking.

I put the script in the HTML Head. Now it works.

We’ve implemented a much easier way to implement Google Analytics and Event Tracking on your landing pages by using Script Manager.
