Hi, our landing page has an embedded wistia video on it and we want to fire a FB event when people click to play.

My code is working, HOWEVER, it’s registering multiple fires of this event when you stop and start the video.

Full disclaimer: I only pretend to be a coder…

Is there a way I can limit this code to only run once?

Thanks in advance!

You may be able to do this easier with Google Tag Manager. https://wistia.com/support/integrations/google-analytics#google-tag-manager

Yeah, I know we can actually track all view data using GA or GTA. What we’re looking for is FB pixel data viewable from Ad Manager, and to integrate wistia w/FB natively is $300/mo… not in the current budget.
