How to implement Collapsing Divs?

Hi,

I found this article where they talk about the Collapsing Divs (#1) and give also the JS Code & CSS Code, but without further explanation.

I’m pretty sure there’s an easy way and the implementation isn’t that hard, but I really need some help to understand where I change my Div name, where does the hidden text go, what should I change in the code and for what exactly.

I thank you in advance. I hope someone can help me out
