Hey guys,

I am trying to figure out how to track several variants for a landing page. I have read through some documentation and other topics but can’t seem to put the pieces together.

Can someone confirm if this is correct: I need to add a script to each variant of the landing page. But how do I know which one is which and how to differentiate them on GA? I can’t see a the benefit in creating a tracking code for each variant.

Please help!

Hi @kcgibbers

There shouldn’t be any need to add your tracking script to each variant. If you add your Analytics tracking script via Script Manager, all of that should be taken care of for you.

Assuming that everything is configured correctly, you should see the variant at the end of the URL in your Analytics landing page data. You can confirm this by navigating to Behavior > Site Content > Landing Pages in Analytics after some time has passed to allow for data to start allocating.

Great!! Thank you @leah.ann! It doesn’t explicitly say so and it seemed too easy.
Thanks for confirming!
