Google Analytics reporting discrepancy from Google Ads

Hi I have Google Ads running though to my unbounce pages and I notice Google Analytics is not reporting the complete metrics from Google Ads for these pages. I’ve compared sessions vs clicks and we are receiving 50% fewer sessions compared to clicks and while this can be a coincidence it is only happening for all of our unbounce ad campaigns. The unbounce rep mentioned it is connected to the correct GA account and there are no variants. We do not have conversion tracking yet so cannot compare those metrics but if there are any other areas we should consider, I am all ears! Thank you.

Hi @Quality_Assurance 👋

So Google Analytics shows lower numbers than Google Ads?

Do you have the Google Analytics script added on the page level in the builder, or in the settings? I wonder if something isn’t getting the opportunity to load in the best order on the page.

Also, are you using UTM parameters in the link from the ad? That might be a good way to double-check session/click numbers too.
