Editing Script Placement to Specific Areas in HTML

I tried searching for the answer on this one, but for some reason, the Ad agency we’re using is asking us to group their GTM script together in a specific spot of the header: right after the tag. Currently Unbounce just offers in the head, at the end of the body, or just after the body.

Wondering if there’s some feature I’m missing that I can get in or download the HTML to format it how they want.

Hello there,

So for GTM there’s two ways you can add it Unbounce.

  1. You add it via the Script Manager, which you can find more info here https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/203814014-How-Do-I-Integrate-Google-Tag-Manager-With-Unbounce-

  2. You would need to create 2 scripts, the one for the Head you would set the placement to “head”. For the script where it says right after tag, you would set the placement to be “after body”. Which is actually right after the opening body tag.

Let me know if you have questions 🙂

Ah rad, ok, I figured “after body” meant after the closing body tag. Thanks much!

I thought the same for about a year or so until I decided to test it haha.
