Hi,

I want to use the following url:

http://mydomain.com/page?first_name=f…

and then use fnamevalue and lnamevalue on my landing page.

How do I do that if I can’t use a form for this?

Thank in advance!

Hi Marc,

If I understand you correctly, you’re looking for a way to implement these parameters from the URL into the page itself. Correct?

If so, you can do this with our Dynamic Text Replacement feature fairly easily. To give you an idea of what this would look like, analyze the following url then click through to view the result.

Alternatively, if you input the same URL without the parameters, you’re going to receive different copy on the landing page.

Can I ask what you’re specifically trying to do with this functionality, Marc? More so, how will the parameters be populated? Is your traffic coming from AdWords, email campaign, etc.

If you want to get started with this feature, you can click through to learn more about what you can do with Dynamic text, or how to implement this on your landing page

Just a note that Dynamic Text Replacement is only available on PRO99 plans and up, as this is an advanced feature that was built primarily to complement Google Adwords Keyword Insertion.
