Call to action within iFrame

I have an iFrame with a login box inside of it coming from a different server. Everything is working great so far (awesome html editor - I love it!) … BUT … Because my call to action is from within an iFrame, there doesn’t appear to be any way to track the login conversions.

Any recommendations here?

Hello John, unfortunately at the moment this is one drawback with using embedded elements like this.

We plan on having a tracking bug at some point in the future that you will be able to use to track conversions on third party pages, but at this point I can’t give you an ETA on when that will be ready.

A work-around might be to use two pages with the first just having a single “Sign up” button that links to a page with the multiple buttons that you have in that sign up widget, but obviously this is pretty shaky since there is no guarantee that if someone clicks through it was actually a conversion.

Hi Brian,

I understand you’re looking for a way to record an Unbounce conversion from an external page. Unbounce does now offer a javascript tracking code that you can include on your external page (iframed or standalone) to record a conversion event to your Unbounce dashboard.
