Bypass form -> straight to confirmation box?

Hey there,

I have a pretty specific request.
I want to use an unbounce confirmation dialog box as my confirmation box for clicking on a link in my Email.

So I have an event running and we send out an email to our list. They have the option of clicking “yes I can attend” or “no I can’t attend”. The user would be directed to the confirmation dialog box simply stating “Thanks for clicking YES, click the button below to save your spot”. then on clicking the button in the form confirmation box the users email address would be saved from the Email

Pretty confusing but should be pretty straight forward!

Thanks 🙂

Hi @erayner ,

It is a bit confusing but I think I got the gist of it.

Instead of trying to open up the confirmation dialog directly, I would advise you on creating a brand new landing page.

Design and adjust based on your requirements:
“Thanks for clicking YES, click the button below to save your spot”

Put a button on it that would launch a lightbox with a form.

The only thing left is to make sure, your email links are tagged with the recipient’s email address.

If the links are tagged properly, the form should be able to auto-fill the email field.

Best,
Hristian
