Button IDs are not being detected by Google Tag Manager

I’m trying to track button clicks but using lp-pom-button-14 or #lp-pom-button-14 as the button ID doesn’t work in Google Tag manager. I tried setting that up as triggers and it didn’t work. Then I checked what variables are actually being passed on to GTM when I click the button and the button ID/click ID isn’t even detected by GTM (preview mode). See the screenshots below.

Here’s the landing page, where I’d like to track the “DOWNLOAD >>” button: https://www.mymauu.com/ebook-anxietyfeardepression-download-page/

I could also track the button text, but I have this CTA text on more than one of my Unbounce pages…

Does anyone know a solution?

Did you ever find a solution for this? I’m having a similar problem testing GTM. Everything is loading appropriately in GTM preview, but I can’t get the button click tag to fire.
