I searched help pages, but there doesn’t seem to be an easy fix to help align images/text/anything.
I know the green lines are supposed to help, but it’s a bit of a crapshoot if they show up & what they decide to align against.
Am I seriously missing something?

Hi there!
The snap alignment should work fairly well when trying to line things up with each other or when you’re looking to align something dead centre vertically/horizontally.
You may want to use the “position” property to line things up quickly & precisely.
