I have a newsletter sign-up pop-up on our site that we need to make ADA compliant for accessibility. Wondering if anyone has a guide on a) what are some features that we should check off and b) how to implement these features through Unbounce.
Some items we are considering:
- Focus on pop-up when it opens (rest of page focus out)
- Screenreader detects and announces opening of pop-up
- Be keyboard accessible: each element accessible through tabbing + can exit by ESC key
- Include descriptive alt text for image, links and sign up button
